Here are today’s solar images taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, October 13, 2017.

The sky was clear but experienced intermittent light to moderate breeze, making the seeing and transparency poor at the time these images were taken.

The Sun remains spotless with no flaring activity recorded over the past 24 hours. Some small to medium-sized pillar and arch-shaped prominences at several portions of the Sun’s limbs were captured in H-alpha imagery. The latest sunspot number (based on visual count and Wolf number calculation) is 0.

Space weather agencies* forecast very low solar activity to continue with minimum to no solar flare activity. Close monitoring is being conducted by numerous space weather agencies for any significant development.
