No solar images were taken today, due to unfavorable weather condition (mostly cloudy skies) at the proposed time of observation.

Solar activity remains at very low levels over the past 24 hours. No active sunspot regions currently exist on the Sun’s visible disk. The latest sunspot number (based on visual count and Wolf number calculation) is 0.  Nothing significant happening with the Sun lately except for some small filaments and a tiny prominence at the southern portion of the Sun’s visible disk as seen in H-alpha imagery.

Space weather agencies* forecast solar activity to remain at very low levels with chances of weak X-ray fluxes or flares ranging up to B-class intensity. Close monitoring is being conducted by numerous space weather agencies for any significant development.
