SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 5, 2017

Here’s today’s solar image taken from Al Sadeem Observatory.

A new active region (AR) 2655 has appeared on the Sun’s photosphere. Meanwhile, AR2654 eased up its activity a bit as it retreats.

Overall, a slight increase in solar activity was observed. We’ll be closely monitoring for any significant progress of the 2 ARs.
