Here are yesterday’s solar images taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, June 8, 2017.
The sky was mostly clear and slightly breezy, making the seeing and transparency fair at the time these images were taken.
Active Region (AR) 2661 eased up its activity even further over the past 24 hours; emitted some minor C-class solar flares. SIDC foresee no major solar activity in the following days as manifested in the current measurements; but still being monitored for any major significant development. The latest sunspot number (based on visual count and Wolf number calculation) is 13.
Some plages, filaments and minor flare outbursts were captured, as shown in the false-color H-alpha image.
Overall, solar activity was considered low at this moment.
