Here are today’s solar images taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, June 10, 2017.
The sky was mostly clear with good seeing and transparency at the time these images were taken.
The sun was spotless over the past 24 hours, though the decaying Active Region (AR) 2661 is still present. The latest sunspot number (based on visual count and Wolf number calculation) is 10. With this remark, SIDC and NOAA forecast no significant solar activity in the next couple of hours.
Some filaments and plages can be clearly distinguished in the false color H-alpha image.
Overall, solar activity was considered low at this moment.
