SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 7, 2017

Here’s today’s solar image taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, May 7, 2017.

Generally, no significant solar activity was observed as it remains low for the past few days. Active Region (AR) 2654 still appears sharp as it about to retreat out of our view of the Sun’s photosphere. On the other hand, only a single remaining spot was seen in AR2655 as some of its associated spots had disappeared for the past 24 hours.

We’ll keep monitoring.
