SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 18, 2018

Here are today’s solar images taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, May 18, 2018. The sky was clear with light air turbulence making the seeing and transparency good at the time these images were taken.

SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 17, 2018

No solar images were taken today, May 17, 2018, due to unfavorable sky condition (mostly cloudy to overcast) at the proposed time of observation. No active sunspot regions currently exist on the Sun’s visible disk with no significant flaring activity recorded as solar activity remains at very low levels over the past 24 hours.

SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 16, 2018

Here are today’s solar images taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, May 16, 2018. The sky was partly cloudy with intermittent light to moderate breeze making the seeing and transparency average to poor at the time these images were taken.

SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 15, 2018

Here are today’s solar images taken from Al Sadeem Observatory, May 15, 2018. The sky was slightly hazy with intermittent light to moderate breeze making the seeing and transparency average to poor at the time these images were taken.

SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 14, 2018

No solar images were taken today, May 14, 2018, due to time constraints experienced by the observer. Solar activity remains at very low levels over the past 24 hours. The lone visible sunspot group AR2709 has recently lost its sunspot structure but still distinct in H-alpha imagery.

SUNSPOT MONITORING – MAY 13, 2018

No solar images were taken issued today, May 13, 2018, due to unfavorable weather condition (dust storm) at the proposed time of observation.   Solar activity remains at very low levels over the past 24 hours. Some tiny pores were seen popping out in the lone visible sunspot group AR2709, otherwise, its sunspot structure has […]
